At some point, any writer asks himself or herself, “why should i write?” While there’s no general answer, there’s still something common in every writer.
I was diagnosed with depression and schizoaffective disorder when I was 16. I quit high school when I was 17/18 and entered a spiral of self-destruction and isolation. They were my worst years. I recovered, and I started to eat more, go out with friends and improving my mental health. But, sometimes, I stopped fighting.
One of the most challenging things about writing is creating ideas. Or, to be specific, developing ideas. It’s quite easy to create an idea, which I’ll discuss in next posts. But the problem of developing is about what happens in the middle.
